Annual Bridges to Adulthood Recognition Luncheon

You are cordially invited to our Annual  BRIDGES TO ADULTHOOD RECOGNITION

LUNCHEON (formerly Adolescent Services Recognition Breakfast)

This year we will recognize the accomplishments of our youth of today and we will honor the

youth of yesterday, former residents of the colored orphan asylum.  Dr. William Seraile of

Lehman College will be at the luncheon to talk about and sign copies of his book, Angels of

Mercy: White Women and the History of the New York Colored Orphan

Asylum 1836-1946.

The information about the Luncheon is as follows:

Date: Saturday, June 25, 2011

Time: 12 PM—3 PM  

Location: Londel’s Restaurant, 2620 Frederick Douglas Boulevard (8th Ave) @ 138th St.
