Harlem Dowling Hosts Life Camp, Inc. Women on the Move Speaker’s Series
In celebration on Women History Month Harlem Dowling West Side Center for Children and Family Services joined forces with Life Camp, Inc. and Ravenel Records to host their annual Women on the Move Speaker’s Series. During the month of March the series traveled throughout the five (5) boroughs of New York making its last stop on Wednesday, March 31, at The Dwyer Cultural Art Center in Harlem.

Life Camp CEO Kim Ford; Soruce Magazine Director Dana Santiago; and Harlem Dowling Deputy Executive Director Karen Dixon Hosted by on-air personality Dee Vazquez, of Hot 97 Ms. Info fame, the 2010 Women on the Move panelists included full figure model Christina Mendez; Source Magazine General Manager Amy Andrieux; music executive Hillary Weston and 11 year-old rising star Emerald-Angel young. Ms. Mendez, who left a promising and stable career in corporate America, message to others was to “know yourself” while Amy Andrieux reminded all to “keep their eyes on the prize.”

Harlem Dowling participants Joeli Hernandez picked up a watch and Ratisha Hanesworth received a gift certificate.
