Everyone needs friends and Harlem Dowling's Circle of Friends keeps growing! More than three years ago, Toy Van Lierop and Halle Barry started the Friends of Harlem Dowling, a network of concerned, dedicated individuals who help out with the many "extras" needed for the children.
Using both their dollars and connections, the Friends help provide for all those little things that mean a lot: Turkeys at Thanksgiving, presents at Christmas, books and toys for the rooms where parents and children are reunited, and business attire for men and women coming out of drug rehabilitation to wear to a job interview.
